The highlights of this Quarterly Case Update include 11 new OECD Guidelines complaints filed against among others Panasonic, Statkraft, ASR, POSCO, Shell, Michelin, Pöyry, Excellon Resources, BHP Billiton and AES Sonel. Mediation is ongoing in cases involving George Forrest International, Barrick Gold Papua New Guinea and ArcelorMittal. Moreover, the UK NCP issues final statement after successful mediation process between the LEAD Group and Xstrata. Cases against UCM and J-Power in US coal mining case have been rejected by the US and Japanese NCP and the UK NCP concludes BHP Billiton Mozal smelter case, determining that the company did not violate the Guidelines.

The highlights of this Quarterly Case Update include new OECD Guidelines complaints filed against Excellon Resources, Compagnie Minière de Sud Katanga and. BHP Billitons subsidiary Minera Escondida. Additionally, Centerra Gold responds to the complaint filed by Canadian and Mongolian NGOs regarding human rights and environmental violations in Mongolia and the Luxembourgean NCP, with the support of the Dutch NCP, hosted a meeting between Friends of the Earth and ArcelorMittal to discuss the terms and procedures for the mediation.The UK NCP rejects the complaint against TetraBOOST in the leaded gasoline case, but the complainants disagree with the NCP's logic for rejecting the case.

The highlights of this Quarterly Case Update include new OECD Guidelines complaints filed against Centerra Gold, Shell, Sjovik, Norwegian Church Aid, Statoil, Innospec, Xstrata, and TetraBOOST. Specific Instances recently concluded with an agreement between the parties include the case against Nidera regarding human rights issues at Argentine corn field operations, several cases regarding child labour and cotton trading in Uzbekistan, and the case against Cermaq for its salmon farming practices. The Norwegian NCP furthermore issued a final statement in the Intex Philippines nickel mining case.
