Statement on the third meeting of the OECD's Inclusive Platform on Due Diligence Policy Cooperation

OECD Watch continues to encourage governments globally to adopt legal frameworks for responsible business conduct in consultation with affected and potentially affected rightsholders, their representatives, and civil society organisations working closely with them. Together with a delegation of civil society representatives from the United States, Mexico, Belgium, Poland, and Switzerland, we look forward to participating in the upcoming third meeting of the OECD’s Inclusive Platform on Due Diligence Policy Cooperation (1 July 2026).

This statement sets out our key recommendations for governments on advancing binding corporate accountability frameworks that ensure implementation of the OECD Guidelines’ standards and prioritise meaningful stakeholder engagement and remediation for harmful business impacts.
