OECD Watch explains the “Remedy is the Reason” campaign to NCPs in Geneva

During the second day of the 6th annual UN Forum on Business and Human Rights in Geneva, Switzerland, OECD Watch held an informal meeting with the NCPs of 12 countries: Norway, Austria, U.K., U.S.A, Finland, Belgium, France, Italy, Sweden, Israel, Poland, and Denmark.

During this informal meet-up, OECD Watch explained and answered NCPs’ questions about the new campaign to the NCP representatives, noting that OECD Watch was stepping up the pressure and the tone of the campaign, which is aimed at improving  the effectiveness of NCPs in providing remedy to victims of business related human rights violations.​ OECD Watch will be working with members in countries around the world to demand #EffectiveNCPsNow because #RemedyIsTheReason!
