The Foundation for the Conservation of the Earth (FOCONE) is a Nigerian-based non-governmental organisation (NGO) that is focused on contributing to the delivering and protection of healthy environment for humanity.
We work with all stakeholders to promote environmentally friendly actions and support the underserved communities to amplify their voices and experiences to ensure that no one is left behind.
Our core strategies include:
- Engaging companies and government to protect and restore the environment.
- Raising awareness about risky behaviour and sustainable environmental practices.
- Supporting communities to address their needs and concerns.
- Advocating for human rights with special attention on environmental degradation and corporate accountability, and
Amplifying the disproportionate effects of climate change on vulnerable communities and working with development partners and passionate organisations and individuals to reduce their vulnerability.
