The Korean House for International Solidarity (KHIS) was established in 2000. In the era of globalization, KHIS is responding to human rights violations of Korean companies investing abroad, mainly introducing democracy and human rights issues in Asia to Korea, and organizing solidarity. It is also conducting monitoring activities for the National Human Rights Commission of Korea. KHIS has participated in various human rights and labor and BHR networks in Asia, and has also participated in OECD Watch’s Coordinating Committee. It has been responding to the Korean NCP since 2007.
